The Band
Formed by The Fielder Brothers somewhere in 2004, Indigo Down are a 4-Piece Rock band from London, England. They are officially the last ever band to play the Marquee Club. There’s no real evidence for that, but it IS official. Their 2005 album, ‘Gin Lane’ is still good and usually available (iTunes | Amazon). After a 3 year hiatus, Indigo Down return to the Live scene in 2011 with a brand-new line-up and the promise of a new EP, Single and Video. Make this page a favourite, there is going to be some funny stuff going on.
The band's official Twitter is @indigodown.
Jez Fielder
Vocals, Guitar, Shiraz
Jez has had a colourful time since being born. He is by turns, an actor, writer, journalist, and rake. But most importantly he is the lead vocalist for Indigo Down and occasionally offers some stringy beef of his own on his beloved PRS executive rock-axe. Much like some of MacLaren Vale’s finest Shiraz (e.g. The Dead Arm from D’Arenberg), Jez’s songwriting is bold, complex and heroically structured with tasting notes of oak, vanilla and pornography.
Jez is currently enjoying The Trip on the BBC, possesses all episodes of Spooks, is obsessed with William Boyd and repeatedly gets outbid on cheap Hugo Boss jeans on eBay. He also likes dogs and fancies Steffi Graf.
He is mostly listening to Mr Big, Alter Bridge, It Bites and the woman upstairs coughing.

Clive Murray
Guitar, Vocals, Tanqueray
Clive was raised on a strict diet of Guns N' Roses and Joe Satriani, and when not fondling the frets in Indigo Down works on his own solo instrumental material. He enjoys the guitars of Ibanez, Gibson and Blackmachine, the amps of Cornford, the footwear of Vans, and the Isle of Jura.
Band-wise, Clive is currently digging Stockholm's Crashdïet, Chicago's The Last Vegas and Brighton's Furyon. You should too.
Clive once beat Dave Gorman at table-tennis, and plans to take on Jimmy Carr at shove-ha'penny, and one day perhaps even Terry Wogan at lawn bowls.

Martin Szomszor
Bass, Vocals, Laphroaig
Martin hails from the south coast slum of Hastings. He became bass aware at the age of 14 after discovering his natural accordance with the low frequencies and prodigious talent on the orthogonal tuba. After a few years flirting with the local music scene and earning a living as a part-time bacon consultant, Martin escaped to Southampton to read computer science. He completed his PhD in 2006 and spent 3 years as a postdoctoral researcher before moving to London to peruse his adolescent dreams of rock stardom. When he's not sounding off in the nether regions of Indigo Down, Martin works as a scientist at the City eHealth Research Centre
He is currently enjoying the musical comedy of Tim Minchin, the comics of XKCD, and the rich aromatic blend emanating from the inside of his leather gloves.

Paul Fielder
Drums, Vocals, Babycham
Paul likes to hit things. And not just drums. He'll hit children and animals if the money is right. And, if it's not he's very open to negotiation. Especially when it comes to walloping a stoat.
After making promising starts in most things - stand up comedian, writer, knot expert - he usually gives up and spends the rest of his time blaming other people. His current pipe dream is to become a full time poker player. When that inevitably fails, he might even concentrate on a proper job like being a drummer.
Paul exclusively uses Chas N' Dave as a means of relaxation. And his trusty crack pipe.
